The Tubby
Meet ‘The Tubby’- One of the tubby's many secret weapons is its size. It's been designed to fit through most doorways. The most common (standard) door width in England and Wales is 2' 6” – 30 inches – 762mm. In Scotland, the door width is generally smaller, usually measuring 28.5 inches – 726mm. The Tubby is 710mm in height, so holding it sideways should have it slipping through without much fuss. But of course you should not purchase our pots without first double and triple checking the measurements of your specific doorway, as returns will be expensive due to the size. Bigplantpots manufactured this tubby for everybody but especially for gardeners that want a bigplantpot but live in terraced houses with limited access to their gardens.
The Tubby is a classic flower pot design with a new, contemporary, matt finish, in a range of pigment rich, tones. Designed and manufactured in the UK, with fast delivery, easy communication and no minimum order quantity. With a sealed base for indoor use and drainage holes for outdoor use, ‘The Tubby’ is a stylish, space-defining statement. Using a rotational moulding process, ‘The Tubby’ is made of recyclable, medium-density polyethylene. This technique gives an incredibly durable finish and allows us to permeate the colour right through the planter giving a colourfast result. At 216 Litres, ‘The Tubby’ is ideal for trees, flowers, grasses and is the perfect height for a herb garden in a residential or public setting.
